A Jersey based Illustrator.

Leandro Henriquez is a Jersey City based artist and illustrator. Graduated from NJCU in May 2016 with a BFA in Illustration. Living in Jersey, has given Leandro the chance to experience a broad spectrum of personalities, culture and art. He is able to extract the humor and beauty from his daily life and infuses joy effortlessly into his work. Leandro was accepted into the JCARTS High School program in 2006. During his time there, he received a full scholarship from the Rhode Island School of Design to attend their pre-college course. He attended NJCU on a talent scholarship in 2011 and was featured in the BFA group exhibition. Soon after graduating, he began a mentorship with ESKFF & Sol Studio at the Mana Contemporary Museum, where he teaches his techniques to high school students. Currently, he works freelance and is looking for art related work.
